Is a projector included?
No. Each kit includes the inflatable frame with a detachable screen, a blower (a separate electric blower with the 20 ft, built into the frame on the 16 ft), tie-down ropes and stakes, and a storage bag. Use any LED, LCD, DLP or laser projector you already own.
Which size should I choose?
Pick the 20 ft (13 × 8 ft screen) for bigger yards and larger groups. Pick the 16 ft (11 × 6.5 ft screen) for smaller yards and patios; its blower is built into the frame, so there is one less piece to set up.
How bright does my projector need to be?
For night viewing, 1,500–2,500 lumens works well. If there is still some daylight or ambient light, look for 3,000+ lumens. The darker the setting, the better the picture.
Can I project from the front or the rear?
Both. Front projection is generally brighter. Rear projection lets you hide the projector behind the screen so nobody walks through the picture.
How much space do I need?
The white viewing area is 13 × 8 ft11 × 6.5 ft in a 16:9 format. The inflated frame and support legs add extra width and depth, so choose a flat, open spot with a few feet of clearance on every side.
Does the blower need power?
Yes. On both sizes, plug the blower into a standard outdoor outlet or a grounded extension cord rated for outdoor use.
Will it stay up in the wind?
Reinforced anchor points, tie-down ropes and stakes keep the screen secure in light to moderate wind. Always stake it down, and take it down if winds pick up.
How do I clean and store it?
The screen attaches with Velcro and comes off for hand washing; it usually dries in 20–40 minutes. Wipe the frame with a damp cloth, let it deflate, then fold everything into the storage bag. Make sure it is completely dry before storing.
Where is the best place to sit?
For the most comfortable view, sit about 1.5 to 2 times the screen height away, roughly 12 to 16 ft10 to 13 ft from the screen.
